Hi All; I recently moved from a machine with Visual Studio 2012 Professional to one with Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate. I moved all of my projects over as well. Now anytime I open one of the existing web projects or create a new web project I get an error reporting A valid license could not be obtained for 'CodeSmith Generator'. The Add/Remove Programs of the control panel shows that Code Smith Generator 7.0.1.15136 is installed. I have never used Code Smith, and have no idea while I am getting this error. I could probably just uninstall this tool but I am reluctant to make changes to the installation setup of Visual Studio implemented by the enterprise push.

Please try to repair your VS2012 and install the latest updates for your Visual Studio 2012 As I recall, you need to have the install disks in order to carry out a repair. As stated earlier this instance of VS2012 was installed via a network push so I do not have access to any install disks. Also I would need to have a copy of the Update five to run with out an internet connection as the user that has developer rights on this machine is not allow to connect to the internet. The download page instruction says I just need to select the exe and do a save as. However the download page never give me the option to do a save as. It merely goes to a page that says thank you for downloading and opens a little tiny popup window that eventually says Page can not be displayed.
