Driver Audio Phoenix Awardbios V6 00pg

Now, unless I reinstall my audio driver the I looked at my device manager and all seems fine but unfortunately i still have no sound on my computer. If your computer is a brand name like Dell or HP or other, you can just post the make and model number. There is no risk of installing the wrong driver. EverQuest II Forum Viewers, I am contacting regarding EverQuest II not being displayed when launched. The game window displays only black. The EverQuest II standard cursor is displayed. Audio also plays normally. After approximately 10 seconds there is a error message ' Display driver stopped responding and has recovered Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 341.44 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.' I have installed the latest Nvidia Drivers for the installed graphics card.

I have tested the display adapter with another piece of software ' CatZilla' and there was no issue. Partial DirectX Diag. Old video cards from NVidia are known to have issues with new drivers regarding EQ2. From the MSDiag view, your system must be going for it's 10th anniversary soon right? Problems are known including the geforce 260 etc series and below. The 9600 is working well. Try to get some old drivers from the Nvidia website.

Perhaps even a 2xx version driver. That should do the trick. Aunt Edit says: Don't even try to use the windows internal nvidia drivers. They are a lot worse than the oldest nvidia own driver you can scrape from the nvidia website. I have spent the past three days scouring the interwebs on this problem. It's making me want to toss my rig out the flippin window.

I just had this thing built not two months ago. I'm running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti, Intel i5-4460 processor, 16 GB Razor RAM, brand, spanking new case with fully functioning fans. Fast. machine. No other game does this to me.

I'm about to quit this game and it's such a shame. I can sometimes sit and watch the 'driver has stopped responding and has recovered' message four to a record nine times in a row, back to back.

There is no rhyme or reason to it (and I have no warning so I can't try to minimize fast enough). Granted, it's 90% or higher that it occurs whilst out questing, whereas if I park it in town and do some crafting it's rare. I play in windowed mode. I've tried full screen, same shyte, different day.

I've done the regedit trick (TdrDelay, etc.) - I've uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, I've prayed to several gods, some not even in my pantheon!.insert snide smirk here. The only thing I can't figure out is how to get the drivers raymagini is talking about. Searching that 9. results in a page offering a driver for Windows 8.1.

I'm on 7 Pro. I also seem to be locked into the 'GEFORCE EXPERIENCE' which, like magic, reinstalled the most current drivers even though I attempted to manually install older drivers.

So, my more learned and geeky friends, is there any hope for me and EQ2? Or should I unsub now and cry in my Snapple? On the nvidia site itself: there chose beta or older drivers.

Then you can select the one you need/want. It's a trial and error way of finding the rigth driver for your rig. I had luck until now.

Only some wierd triangles, but the driver never crashed on me. I think it depends on which brand of gfx card you get. Some are a little 'crappier' while trying to outperform others. The ones I had the least problems with are Gainward.

Else try to measure the temperatures of your gfx card. We had a gtx 560 from asus that didn't stop boosting up. So it overheated after 5 minutes of tranquil sea. Could be related.

Thanks Anghammarad. I know it's not a heat issue. As I said, it is only happening in EQ2. Other games are fine. I'm going to be bringing it back to the guy who built it, see if he can suss it out. It's just so damn frustrating, makes no sense to me.

Why only the one game causing my GPU to throw fits? If there was an issue with the card, the drivers, or another piece of hardware, then why isn't this happening in other programs/games? Now I'll be without a PC for a week. Oh well, I'll monitor this thread from my phone in the meantime. Just had a wierd experience.

I installed an used PC for a raidmember of us, like I did before. Hardware: Mainboard: Intel DP35DP CPU: Intel Core2Duo E8400 Ram: 8 Gbyte DDR2 GForce 9600 GT I did a fresh win 7 professional installation, used my tv as monitor.

Tried to start EQII and had wierd errors, so downgrading the driver. Everythin OK then. Made an Win 10 Pro Upgrade installation, startet EQ and it looked like a 3d gaussian search picture. You know the ones where you need to squint to perhaps find the image. I figured out it has something to do with the windows 10 automatic scaling. It happens in fullscreen (1920x1080) or windowed 'fullscreen'. To fix that gfx issue, even the Altar of Malice logo isn't shown, in windowed mode, resize the window to 1280x1024 for example.

I just double clicked on the top window border to move it form max size to small size, then double click again to get it to 'fullscreen windowed'. And everything was shown fine. On my main machine, I haven't got this issues regarding windows 10.

Hardware here: Asrock Fatal1ty Professional Z77 Intel Core I5 3570K 8 GByte DDR3 Ram EQ and Win10 on SSD GF 760 GTX No problems here. Just the occasional crash from EQ regarding the memory leak. EQ has stopped working and I can relogin instandly. This after zoning and camping to other alts a lot.
