Windows Server 2008 Download

Hello everyone, I'm having trouble installing DB2 Connect V9.7 or V9.5 on Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit. V9.7 brings up the initial installation option window, but none of the options are active and the window looks odd in the way that it's displayed. Some options aren't even visible.

All that can be done is close the window. V9.5 brings up the initial install window fine. I can click on Install a Product and choose the Server install.

But then all that is displayed is a generic msiexec options window. Windows vista upgrade. At that point all that can be done is close the msiexec window.

Windows

It's like the command that the install process is attempting to execute is invalid. I tested both on a non-R2 2008 64bit server and they work fine. So it's something to do with it being R2.
