Hi As far as I know you can use the webcam modus for live video conference using an 3rd party software like Skype for example In user manual there is a note: zoom is available for video recording only. So possibly you cannot use it in webcam mode.
Furthermore I’ve got another Camileo camcorder and in my case the zoom does not work if the image stabilization is enabled. Check this too. Regarding the recording: In my opinion you cannot use the cam as a webcam and record an video at the one and same time.

As far as I know the software you are using needs to record video using the webcam. Thank you for your recent reply regarding your x200 in webcam mode. We have tested the X200 here on one of our notebooks and the zoom function via the remote control and the controls on the camera do not respond to any input. This would mean that in Webcam Mode the camera settings are as is.
I have sent an e-mail to ask if we are able to adjust these settings before being in the webcam mode. Awaiting reply. Happy to help;).
