Erd Commander 2008 Isosorbide

ERD Commander is a tool that was originally developed by Winternals (Windows Sysinternals). Microsoft included this tool, firstly, in its and changed its name to Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT). This tool has been developed further and its latest version is. Please consider that each version works only with some operating systems.

ERD Commander was a product created and distributed by Winternals (Russinovich/Cogswell) before they joined Microsoft. As a consequence of this merger, ERD Commander ceased to exist as a separate product. In order to obtain the latest versions of ERD Commander, you need access to Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) which contains MSDa. ERD Commander is a very powerful tool. It comes in the form of an ISO file which is burned to a CD which is a diagnostic and recovery boot disk for Windows 7 and Vista.

For example, DaRT 5.0 only works with Windpws XP and Windows Server 2003, 6.0 works with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Hope this little inf helps you. As I said in my previous post, ERD Command (now it is called Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset) is part of and so, you cannot download it separately. MDOP is available for test and evaluation to MSDN and TechNet subscribers in accordance with MDSN and TechNet agreements.
